To-do list for the Halls

To the Editor:

Now that Oak Bluffs has been able to make the Halls do repairs on one of their properties, could something be done about their property on Main Street next to the Town Hall? Their issue is the tree that the court has ruled cannot be removed. Does this mean that the building will continue to become an eyesore to both tourist and year-round residents? Trees can be trimmed back. After all, the building was built with a tree in front, and has been used as a business for years.

Just because the Halls feel there is no need to keep up their properties, and are willing to pass these properties down to the next Hall generation, doesn’t mean that we should be subjected to the continuing decay of this building.
