Misquoted

To the Editor:

I am appalled that the MV Times would attribute a quote to me that I did not say (July 23, “Gov. Charlie Baker visits Martha’s Vineyard”).

I did not say, “You’re doing a good job.” In fact, we never discussed his performance.
