Finishing first North-South were Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft, followed by Andy Jacknain and John O’Keefe in second, Anita Persson and Deirdre Ling in third, Steve Allen and Cathy Minkiewicz in fourth, and Carol Whitmarsh and Sari Lipkin in fifth. In the East-West direction, Audrey Egger and Duncan Walton finished first, followed by Judy Cronig and Molly Mattoon in second, Cheryl Stark and Lee Kleinman in third, Jim Kaplan and Dave Egger in fourth place, and Sue Sadler and Gail Rothenberg in fifth.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Tuesday, July 28, nine tables were in play. Finishing first in the North-South direction were Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Besse, followed by Eric Stricoff and Rhonda Cohen in second, Dave Donald and Michel Riel in third, and Michael Lindheimer and Bob Iadacicco in fourth. In the East-West direction, Miles Jaffe and Audrey Egger finished first, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, Ency and Robert Fokos in third, and Marianne Goldsmith and Cathy Minkiewicz in fourth.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, July 30, 11 tables were in play. In the North-South direction, Deirdre Ling and Ed Russell finished first, followed by Sandy and Michael Lindheimer in second, Barbara Besse and Miles Jaffe in third, and Brian and Wally Epstein in fourth. In the East-West direction, Sue Collinson and John O’Keefe finished first, followed by Rich Alpert and Barbara McLagen in second, Dave Donald and Rich Colter in third, and Arleen and Ralph Mednick in fourth.
