Help fight hunger by participating in the 25th anniversary CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, Oct. 18. The walk will start at 2 pm in Vineyard Haven, and travel to Oak Bluffs and back. According to a press release, the organizing committee of Martha’s Vineyard CROP Walks is seeking to raise $24,000 to benefit global and local efforts to fight hunger. The 25th anniversary walk will also honor the Grand Marshal, the Rev. Alden Besse, for his leadership since the first Martha’s Vineyard CROP Hunger Walk.
