The U-10 boys Vineyard soccer team played Berkeley at home Saturday in a makeup game and won 7-3.
The game featured a relentless attack by the Vineyarders, who had 21 shots on goal, compared with seven by Berkeley.
Anderson Andrade scored three goals, Shaun Rodgers-Thomas two, and Quinn Cathay and Porter Moenhnke each scored one.
On Sunday, the team traveled to Freetown and scored a 4-0 victory to maintain their perfect record.
Porter Moenhnke, Bryce Cioffi, Quinn Cathay, and Anderson Andrade each scored in a well-rounded attack that saw 16 shots on goal, compared with six for Freetown.
The team is coached by Drew Cathay and Brian Cioffi. “It’s truly a pleasure to watch them grow and get better as a team by working together,” Coach Cioffi told The Times.
