At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Nov. 2, ten pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Bea Phear and Sue Collinson, followed by Barbara Silk and Dave Donald in second, Judy Cronig and Molly Mattoon in third, and Julia Burgess and Barbara Alleyne in fourth.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Nov. 3, nine pairs competed. Finishing in first place overall were Barbara Besse and Sue Collinson, followed by Gerry Averill and Anita Persson in second, Lou Winkleman and Don Nelson in third, and Ken Judson and John O’Keefe in fourth place.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Nov. 5, a friendly team of four was held. A good time was had by all.
