To the Editor:
Shellfish constable Danielle Ewart closed the pond because there were no scallops. She didn’t want to destroy the seed for next year. She raised all new seed all over the pond.
This constable has done a great job. She works hard, and takes a lot of abuse from some, and always walks away and says nothing. She does her job and does it well. Everyone owes her a big thank-you.
