The Martha’s Vineyard Island Clergy Association is sponsoring Hospitality Homes, an initiative that will provide men, women, and families with bedding, dinner, and breakfast during the winter months. According to a press release, Hospitality Homes of Martha’s Vineyard will offer safe, secure, and warm space for the homeless, or those in need, at various churches across the Island. The program will run daily from Friday, Jan. 1, through Thursday, March 31, from 7 pm to 7 am.

The shelters will be supervised by church volunteers and will meet at the following locations:

Monday and Thursday nights: the Federated Church, 45 South Summer Street, Edgartown;

Friday nights: Grace Episcopal Church, Woodlawn Avenue at William Street, Vineyard Haven;

Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday nights: St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 34 North Summer Street, Edgartown.
