At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Jan. 4, five pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Dave Donald and Barbara Silk. Three pairs tied for second place: Bea Phear, playing with Patsy Donovan; Gerry Averill, playing with Diana Dozier; and Ency Fokos, playing with Anita Persson.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Jan. 5, six pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Michel Riel and Dave Donald, followed by Ency and Robert Fokos in second.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Jan. 7, eight pairs competed. First place went to Dave Donald and Rich Colter. Tied for second place were Gerry Averill, playing with Caroline Baum; and Dan and Nancy Cabot.
