Great Scots! Celebrate Tartan Day at the Edgartown library

The Scottish Society of Martha’s Vineyard will celebrate Tartan Day on Saturday, April 9, from 1 to 3 pm in the community room of the new Edgartown library. The event will include bagpipe music, crafts for kids, and the fourth annual shortbread contest. Tartan-patterned clothing is encouraged. Tartan Day is officially recognized on April 6 as a celebration of Scottish heritage, tradition, and culture. Visit for more information.
