At the Edgartown Bridge Club on April 11, nine pairs competed. Art Spielvogel and Cathy Minkiewicz finished in first place, followed by Bea Phear and Carol Whitmarsh in second, and Ken Judson and Caroline Baum in third place. Finishing in a tie for fourth place were Diane Drake and Lolly Hand. (The names of the other fourth-place finishers were not reported.)
No results were posted for the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on April 12.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on April 14, nine pairs competed. First place went to Diana Dozier and Joan Perrine, followed by Ency and Robert Fokos in second, Dan and Nancy Cabot in third, and Caroline Baum and Ken Judson in fourth.
