At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, May 9, seven tables were in play for a charity game. Finishing first overall were Gail Farrish and Warren Morse, followed by Joe Ashcroft and Mollie Whalen in second, Duncan and Jocelyn Walton in third, Sharon and Anita Persson in fourth, and Dotti Arnold and Judy Cronig in fifth. Also placing in the North South direction were Diana Dozier and Gerry Averill.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday, May 10, 12 pairs competed in a charity game. Finishing first overall were Joe Ashcroft and Mollie Whalen, followed by Dave Donald and Michel Riel in second place, Gail Farrish and Warren Morse in third, and Dan and Nancy Cabot in fourth.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, May 12, eight pairs competed. First place went to Bea Phear and Marianne Goldsmith, followed by Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft in second, and Richard Williams and Anita Persson in third.
