Whit Hanschka of Vineyard Haven finished 15th in his division and 124th overall at Saturday’s Mount Washington Road Race. Hanschka was one of approximately 1,100 runners who ran the race. He completed the 7.6-mile hill climb to the summit of Mount Washington in New Hampshire in 1 hour and 30 minutes, an elevation gain of 4,500 feet, shaving eight minutes off his time last year.
