Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School baseball players Elias Fhagen-Smith, Mitchell Chaves, Sam Bresnick, and Curtis Fournier were named to local summer baseball league all-star teams.
Fhagen-Smith, an upcoming senior playing for Orleans Post 308 in District 10 Legion, was named to the District 10 East All-Star Team. On Saturday, the District 10 East team beat the District 6 East All-Stars 7-4 at Rockland Veterans Memorial Stadium in front of 125 college and university coaches. Elias Fhagen-Smith earned MVP of the game.
Mitchell Chaves, an upcoming senior, and Bresnick and Fournier, upcoming juniors, play for the Martha’s Vineyard Senior Babe Ruth team. All three were named to play for the Cape Cod Senior Babe Ruth All Stars in the Senior Babe Ruth State Tournament last weekend.
