Paddle for cleaner waters this Sunday, August 28, at the 25th annual Oar and Paddle Regatta. The two-mile competition kicks off from the Sengekontacket side of Little Bridge in Oak Bluffs at 10 am. Kayaks, standup paddleboards, canoes, rowboats, and dog passengers are all welcome. There will be a post-race BBQ, medals, and a T shirt provided as part of the $25 entry fee. Register online at islandspiritkayak.com or at Island Spirit Kayak between 8:15 and 9:15 am the morning of the race. Kayak and standup paddleboard rentals will be provided free for racers.
