On a rainy Jan. 14, 1967, Mike and Elaine Ciancio were married at Our Lady Star of the Sea church in Oak Bluffs. According to a press release, their reception was held in a small building where the Tisbury Emergency Service Facility now stands. This Saturday, Jan. 14, they will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
