Our town was like a large high school reunion last week as we welcomed Bob Pacheco of Reliable Market home from a Boston hospital, and had the reopening of Linda Jean’s Restaurant after a winter break. Bob, feeling better, is back at his familiar place behind the meat counter at the market, and customers greeted him with big smiles. So glad you are feeling better and back here with family and friends. Friday, the day Linda Jean’s reopened, the restaurant was packed as customers warmly greeted each other and the workers they had missed these past two months. Hugs and hellos were flying around, and regular customers took their accustomed seats and settled in, content and ready to be well-fed. There is no place like home, especially Oak Bluffs.
