The Martha’s Vineyard Surfcasters Fishing and Tackle Tag Sale will be held on Memorial Day, and the group is looking for donations of fishing gear in good condition — fishing rods, reels, nets, tackle, boot — anything to do with fishing.
According to a press release, 100 percent of the money raised goes to a scholarship for a Martha’s Vineyard high school student. Donations can be picked up by calling Don Scarpone, president of Martha’s Vineyard Surfcasters at 508-627-1269.
