At the 1:15 pm Edgartown Bridge Club game in Vineyard Haven on April 10, nine pairs competed. Finishing in a tie for first place were Dave Donald, playing with Barbara Silk, and Bea Phear, playing with Lee Scott. Third place went to Barbara Alleyne and Mabelle Thompson, followed by Ken Judson and Carol Whitmarsh in fourth.
At the April 11, 7 pm game of Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, four pairs competed. The pair winning the most games against all opponents was Barbara Besse and Carol Whitmarsh.
At the April 13, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club, 10 pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Besse, followed by Dan and Nancy Cabot in second, Dave Donald and Lolly Hand in third, and Michael Lindheimer and Carol Whitmarsh in fourth place.
