On Architecture: Three talks with Bruce MacNelly

The West Tisbury library will host a series of architecture programs with local architect Bruce MacNelly. The series will include three talks addressing the fundamental ways to think about architecture, independent from questions of history or style. On Wednesday, July 18, MacNelly will give a talk called “Making Place: Boundary and Threshold.” On Wednesday, August 8, he’ll give a talk called “Building Form: Typology and Program.” His final talk will be on Wednesday, Sept. 8, and it will be called “Sacred Space: Architecture and Metaphor.” All talks begin at 4:30 pm, and are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
