On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Vineyard Artisans Festival closes its 2018 season with a holiday show at the Grange Hall in West Tisbury from 10 am to 4 pm. Holiday gifts and handmade art will be available by local artists you’re used to seeing at these seasonal fests, but from some new artists as well.

New to the festival this year is woodcraft by Eric Lakso. His company, Vineyard Details, crafts artiful wooden boxes and products for the home. Shop wooden bowls and other turnings made functional. They’re intended to be displayed and appreciated as works of nature’s art.

Lily Keller is an abstract oil and mixed-media artist, and she’ll also be at this year’s holiday Artisans Festival. Her work is inspired by her life on the ocean, and by travels to islands she’s visited with her family aboard their sailboat.

Returning popular artist Sylvie Farrington and her vintage fabric handbags and pillows will also be on display this Saturday. Shop Cheryl George and her knitted sweaters, Zach Pinero from the Chappaquiddick Wood Co. with his salad bowls, cutting boards, and servers, and Phoenix Rogers’ popular wampum jewelry. Art by Rocco Vitelle will also be for sale.
