M.V. Bank celebrates 110th anniversary

Martha's Vineyard Bank president James Anthony cuts a piece of the bank's anniversary cake Monday as the bank's staff joins in the celebration.

Martha’s Vineyard Bank celebrated its 110th anniversary on Monday with a ceremonial cake cutting. President and CEO of the bank James Anthony did the honors of slicing the Black Dog Bakery cake, and posed for pictures with staff.

“Everyone associated with Martha’s Vineyard Bank is excited to celebrate our institution’s 110-year tradition of serving the Island,” Anthony said. “We look forward to continuing our tradition of community service and banking excellence far into the future.”
