A taxi crashed into a tree on Lambert’s Cove Road in West Tisbury Tuesday morning.
West Tisbury Police Chief Matt Mincone told The Times the driver of the taxi told police a bug hit him in the face and he veered off the road into the tree.
The road is closed at the intersection of Lambert’s Cove and State Road.
The driver was taken to Martha’s Vineyard Hospital with unspecified injuries.
And a dog ate his homework.
