Liz Witham and Ken Wentworth ‘Follow the Journey’


The Chilmark library hosts a presentation by Liz Witham and Ken Wentworth on their new documentary, “Follow the Journey (working title)” on Wednesday, August 28, at 5 pm. Currently in production, the documentary chronicles endangered North Atlantic right whales on their epic journey from their calving grounds off the coast of Georgia and Florida to the Gulf of St. Lawrence in Canada. A press release says the documentary is woven with the stories of researchers, rescuers, artists and advocates who illuminate the state of these mysterious behemoths existence and uncover challenges that face the species along the way. 

Awardwinning filmmakers Ken Wentworth and Liz Witham founded Film-Truth Productions in 2003, a production company dedicated to making documentary films that inspire dialogue and address social and environmental issues. They have created awardwinning episodic series and feature-length documentaries, including “Keepers of the Light ” (PBS), “A Certain Kind of Beauty,” “A Home for Us All,” and “Sustainable Martha’s Vineyard.”
