Members of the Polar Bears jumped into the water at Inkwell Beach Friday to celebrate the start of a new year.
The Polar Bears appear to be well suited up to withstand the 43.9F Cape water temperatures.
They just don’t build Polar Bears like they used to. The spirit of wearing the same swim apparel in January as worn in July appears to be a thing of the past.
No doubt the time in those balmy waters is getting shorter as well.
Bring back the Polar Bears of yesteryear!
