The M.V. Community Seed Library’s annual Seedling Swap at the West Tisbury library is coming up quickly. Be sure to bring your heirloom and open-pollinated vegetable, flower, and fruit seedlings or cuttings to swap and share with others. Participants can talk to local gardeners and seed-saving experts, and help grow and develop native varieties. Save your seeds after the growing season and “return” them to the seed library.
This event is free and open to the public. The M.V. Community Seed Library is a collaboration with Island Grown Initiative, the West Tisbury library, Whippoorwill Farm, and local home gardeners. It’s on Saturday, May 30, from 10 am to 12 pm,
