McCornack/Farrish first in March 15 duplicate bridge
Patsy McCornack and partner Gail Farrish (back on- Island after a weeklong bridge cruise) took first place at the Thursday, March 15, Island Bridge Club competition. The Nancy Cabot/John O'Keefe team took second, and Bob Iadicicco and Gerry Averill came in third. Six tables were in play.
The ACBL-sanctioned Island Bridge Club duplicate competition is held Thursday evenings at 7 pm, at the Up-Island Council on Aging's Howes House in West Tisbury. Players needing a partner are urged to telephone (508) 693-3758 by noon on Wednesday. The cost is $5 a session.
