We have already set the precedent at so many other music festivals, fire works, Boston Pops, etc. throughout the island, to tolerate open consumption of wine, for the benefit of the Chardonnay Crowd. So why are we suddenly acting so righteous over legal, permitted sales of alcohol at this festival? It just just seems to smack of class-based reactionary politics.
