Letters to the Editor
We are fortunate to have an engaged audience, so we receive many comments and letters. We are not, however, able to publish all of them. That said, we do our best to lift the many different voices of our community.
Letters to the editor can be sent to editor@mvtimes or mailed via the Postal Service: MV Times, Letter to the Editor, 30 Beach Road, P.O. Box 518, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568. Here is our policy.
- Letters to the editor need to be about subjects related to Martha’s Vineyard.
- Each letter must be submitted with the writer’s name, address, and phone number.
- All letters are subject to editing for style, taste, sense, and conciseness.
- Handwritten letters must be legible to be considered for publication.
- The maximum word count for letters is 450 words.
- Publication of a letter is up to the discretion of the editor.
- Letters will be published within two weeks of submission, if accepted.
