Despite chilly winds and occasional rain, shoppers flocked to the first West Tisbury Farmers' Market of the season on Saturday, June 11.
Edgartown Meat & Fish Market is now open, stocked with meat, beer, wine & more. "We want to make it as easy as possible for people," says co-owner Sean Ready.

Ramps (wild leeks) are a favorite among chefs. As one of the first green vegetables of the season they symbolize spring and the gastronomic delights to come.
The space is great: a copper espresso machine from Italy greets you on one side, and on the other, a wall of freshly baked bread and desserts.
Despite the sometimes-uncooperative weather, spring is undoubtedly on the way. And with it comes the re-opening of some seasonal favorites.
