Cruel and unnecessary
In the last few weeks, I watched my very healthy three-year-old cat become more and more despondent and most assuredly ill.
A life saved
We are fortunate to have public servants who are compassionate and vigilant, as they perform their daily duties for the community, eager to risk life and limb, reluctant to take credit, even in the case of saving a life.
Vote no on beer/wine
Two of the qualities of life in our community in Vineyard Haven will be affirmed by voting no on Article 1, to limit the sale of alcohol in the town of Tisbury, on April 27 – our grandchildren and "getting away from it all.
Negative effect

The new hospital thanks Islanders

It was another sad day for our nation when the Democratic Party passed the health bill over the objections of the people and without a proper consensus between the parties.

After last week's work session pertaining to the pending beer and wine vote in Tisbury, it is clear to me that there needs to be more clarity on the ballot question that will be before the town of Tisbury on April 27.
Raise too big for fire department
